Someone rang me saying they were from "The Carphone Warehouse" and said they could give me a whopping 90% off my O2 contract. I told them I’m actually with Vodafone, but they insisted I was mistaken! I told them to take a hike and scam someone else, and then they suddenly started swearing at me before hanging up.

Like mentioned before, this number showed up on our home phone but luckily, we have a call blocker so it didn’t even ring. Usually, if someone’s legit, they’ll tell you who they are so you can decide whether to pick up or not. They didn’t bother leaving a message either. After reading all the other reviews about this number, we’ve decided to block it.

About 30 minutes ago, this number gave my landline a quick ring but didn’t get through because I’ve got a call blocker set up. Reading through other reviews, it’s clear this caller is up to no good - harassing people and potentially causing real harm, especially to older folks and those more at risk during these Covid times. We’re already under enough pressure mentally, so it’s really not fair to have to deal with this kind of stuff on top of everything else going on. Hope something is done about it soon.

They claimed to represent a boiler warranty service. When I informed them that I already possessed a valid warranty, they promptly disconnected the call.
