Fraudulent activity alert! I've been bombarded with calls from what seems like the same scam operation. Each time it’s a different woman, all with a distinctly British accent and a backdrop of chatter, likely from a call centre. They've been asking for my elderly relative by name and have even mentioned their address. This marks the fifth time today I’ve had to deal with this nonsense. I entertained myself by leading them in circles and refusing to give away any details, which eventually bored them enough for them to hang up. It’s quite alarming, really, as I can see how easily they could swindle or confuse those who are more vulnerable.
