4 yearsI got a call from someone named Steven Cole claiming he was from a financial trading firm that supposedly shut down, saying I had 1 Bitcoin (around $16,000 USD) still under my name to be refunded. He went on about bitcoin stuff in detail and said he’d opened a trading account at Balance Traders for the refund. Then he asked me for $1,000 USD from my bank to process the transaction. I told him I couldn’t afford that. Next, he demanded to check my bank balance but when I gave him one account, he said it was the wrong one but wouldn’t tell me what account number he actually had. His so-called "accountant" apparently said my info was wrong too, but I wasn’t giving him my other banking details. He started getting quite pushy and even offered to lend me the money if I let him check all my accounts. I declined, and after nearly an hour of him pressing me for money, he just hung up.
