I got a call from someone saying they were with Virgin Media, trying to sell me a cheaper deal. They asked loads of stuff like my name and address to check if I was legit, then they started asking for my bank info. I wasn’t having any of it so I didn’t share anything. Later on, they emailed me admitting the whole thing was a scam.

I decided to answer because the listing mentioned it might be Virgin Media, but when I picked up, the lady said she was from Sky. The woman sounded Asian to me, and the call was quite muffled so it was hard to catch what they were even talking about. I have a feeling it could be some kinda scam. Got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone sales. They had some info only Vodafone would have, so seemed legit, but in the end it was just a sales pitch. Even though I’m already a customer, they still tried to sell me stuff. Bit cheeky really.
