Just when I thought I’d got a handle on it, another chap stepped in and, to my dismay, wasn’t much clearer either. After he went round in circles a few more times, I gathered that he was apparently representing Curries PC World, asserting that my laptop was due for an upgrade and that they could sort it all out over the phone. Quite the conundrum, considering I don’t actually possess a laptop!PC World4 yearsI haven’t a clue who that was; when I answered, the other side was utterly silent.4 yearsI received a phone call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, trying to sell me an iPhone 13 for £35,000.
