I got a call from a bloke named Andrew, claiming to be from Home Appliances Support. He was trying to get me to sign up for some insurance covering 5 of my appliances for £225. What he didn’t mention is that this company was put on notice to shut down back on 5th April 2022. I’m pretty sharp with these things, so I just told him thanks but no thanks!

I've received numerous calls from this number, all during odd hours when I’m not working. When I attempted to ring back, I kept getting a message saying the call couldn’t go through. Quite baffling, really!

I received a call from someone with a strong Asian accent inquiring about our insurance for kitchen appliances. I informed him that we didn't possess any such coverage, but he was adamant that we already had a policy and that we could renew it at a whopping 50% off today. Honestly, I’m quite certain we don’t have that kind of insurance at all.
