3 yearsI picked up a call that rang through, and after a moment, a voice on the other end said, "Hello, is this ****?" (they actually knew my name!) It was a chap named Nick from some funding firm in London. I decided it was best to cut the conversation short and hung up.NickLondon3 yearsGot a call earlier today saying I had a tax refund waiting. Thing is, I’m disabled and don’t actually pay any tax at all. So yeah, I just went ahead and blocked the number 🚫🚫4 yearsI received a rather dubious phone call from this character who was rather keen on prying into my personal details like my address, age, occupation, and even my debit card info, along with my wife's name! I decided to have a bit of fun with him. For a solid twenty minutes, I toyed with him using a mix of different accents, switching between high and low voices. The chap, bless his heart, continued hoping I’d eventually spill the beans. When he finally got around to asking for my sort code, I cheekily suggested I could offer him my suit jacket instead! It was quite amusing, as it took him a further three minutes to grasp that I was having a laugh at his expense. Eventually, he hung up. The funny part was how I had fed him a postcode from an industrial estate, yet he remained fixated on getting my banking details. Quite the entertaining encounter, if I do say so! 😄4 yearsI chose not to pick up the phone since it was marked as 'potentially fraudulent'. After checking this site, it appears I made the right call. I've since blocked the number.4 yearsGot a call but they didn’t say anything, so I just blocked the number.4 yearsJust picked up and they hung up straight away. Had a call from almost the same number yesterday, so feels a bit dodgy to me.4 yearsGot a call, nobody said a thing, just silence on the other end. Really weird, felt like one of those silent call scams or something.4 yearsI usually ignore numbers I don't recognise and they didn’t bother leaving any voicemail either. I've had a few missed calls from this number on my phone. Tried searching online to see who it might be before ringing back, but couldn’t find anything at all. Has anyone else picked up this number? Who are they anyway?4 yearsI just ignored it and didn’t pick up.4 yearsI got a call from this number, and the moment I picked up, I was told that I was the sole participant in a conference call - quite strange, to say the least!4 yearsFraudster!4 yearsThey inquired if I was interested in some complimentary intimacy. I politely declined, of course.4 yearsI keep receiving calls from this number repeatedly. It's really high time it came to an end!4 yearsThis was definitely a scam, so I just blocked the number straight away.4 yearsso this number popped up saying they were from carphone warehouse or whatever. problem is, i never bought my phone from there and why on earth would they have my work number? didnt seem right so i just ended the call. sounds like a scam to me!Carphone Warehouse4 yearsGot a call from this number and the person had a weird accent, couldn’t quite catch what they were saying. I swear they mentioned something about a mouse and a car? Seems fishy, maybe it’s from Car Phone Warehouse or something like that. Definitely sounded like a call centre.Car Phone Warehouse4 yearsI had a dodgy call where someone pretending to be named James Taylor from Currys PC World reached out to me. They seemed to know an unsettling amount of info from my phone provider but couldn’t even mention my name! It felt like a clear breach of GDPR, and they were pushing to sell me a mobile phone deal that sounded far too good to believe. I certainly smelt a rat!James TaylorCurrys PC World4 yearsAllegedly, I received a communication from Carphone Warehouse proposing an upgrade on my Three contract for a mere £5 a month, boasting unlimited calls, texts, and data, in exchange for my current plan of £8 monthly with 12 GB of data alongside unlimited calls and texts. I then received an email that seemed to be from Carphone Warehouse, yet when I engaged in a lengthy 23-minute phone call, the chap on the other end insisted on obtaining my bank account details and sort code for the direct debit. I felt rather uneasy about this request, so I chose to hang up rather than divulge that sensitive information. It’s left me feeling quite uncertain about the entire situation.Carphone Warehouse4 yearsI received a call about a mobile offer, and I must say, the person on the other end was rather impolite when I requested to have my number taken off their list.4 yearsI've just received a call from this number, and it was an Asian-sounding lady on the other end. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make heads or tails of what she was trying to convey. It’s got all the hallmarks of a scam, if you ask me. Someone really needs to intervene and put an end to these calls!4 yearsI had a rather dodgy call from an Asian chap claiming to be 'Jack'. Interestingly, the tracker indicated the call came from near Big Ben, an area infamous for its shady characters and fraudulent types. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!JackBig BenSubmit Your Own Report (020 4520 3839)
