It’s like they’re hiding behind a UK phone number. When I rang them back, the caller ID showed a company called 'TPS Services', which is kinda funny since in the UK TPS means Telephone Preference Service - the thing we use to stop scam calls! Judging by the noise in the background, it sounded like a busy call centre just cold-calling people about some 'Homecare' insurance.

Got a call around 10:20 on Sunday morning, but when I answered, there was just silence. Then the call dropped on its own.

A lady with an Asian accent rang me but didn’t say her name. She claimed she was sending some paperwork about a refund for a washing machine insurance policy - which I don’t even have. Then she started asking which bank account I wanted the money in. This was the second time in as many days I’d gotten a call like this. I told her straight up that I wasn’t falling for it and hung up.

Got a call from 020 4520 3543, someone from TTS SERVICES claiming there's a £110 refund from a washing machine service contract. A lady spoke to me about how they’d sort the refund, but just as my son picked up the phone, they suddenly dropped the call. Bit odd, really.

Got a call from some bloke wanting me to verify my name. I asked him straight up who he was, but he wouldn’t say. Then he goes on about someone trying to withdraw £190 from my bank. I asked for details, but he just said GDPR rules meant he couldn’t say, then asked me to confirm my address - which he already had. I told him I wasn’t going to share anything and hung up. Proper annoying way to kick off my Sunday!

02045203543 Got a call from this number early on a Sunday at around 8:10, which I already found annoying. The bloke couldn't even say my name right and claimed I was due a refund. Then he tried to get me to give my bank details, saying they'd take a small charge then return it to prove the account was legit - yeah, as if! He was really persistent, kept insisting it wasn't a scam and got proper aggressive after a while, saying he was sick of explaining himself. I asked if he could send something in writing, but he said he didn’t have my address. Total scam. I've blocked the number now. Wish there was an easy way to track these scammers down and stop them for good.

So early on a Sunday morning, around 8:45, I got this call that really jolted me awake. I just groaned and said hello, and from the sound, it was definitely a bloke with an Asian accent, probably working in some noisy call centre. He asked if I was Mr Anthony. Thing is, Anthony is my ex’s first name, not mine. I have a feminine voice, but probably quite tired and deeper than usual, but still, it was obvious they had no clue it was a first name and not a last. Even half asleep and annoyed, I could tell right away it was a dodgy scam, so I hung up quick, muttering a few choice words. Plus, no number showed on my phone at all. Just a heads up to watch out for these calls!

Got a call saying I was due a refund for my washing machine insurance, which is odd because I’ve never even had that insurance in the first place.

Normally I ignore calls from unknown numbers, but I was caught up and just answered it. The bloke on the line had a really thick accent and I could barely work out what he was saying. He started talking about my washing machine and mentioned something like paying me £180. Then he asked if I wanted the money via debit or credit card! When I said cheque, it seemed to annoy him a bit. He told me to check my bank statement for a reference starting with IBN or something similar, but I just told him straight I wasn’t about to hand over any bank info!

They said I was owed a refund of about £119 for an extended warranty on a washing machine, which I never even bought. I played along and said great, send me a cheque then. But they said no way, they needed my bank details instead, like my sort code and account number. When I asked if they really thought I’d fall for that, they just hung up on me!

I was shocked when they called and already had my name and address. They claimed I had paid £190 too much for my washing machine warranty and wanted to give me a refund. Then they transferred me to someone else. I told them I had no clue about any washing machine warranty. After that, the line just got cut! I've blocked the number since then!

I've had three calls now from that same number about supposedly charging me £119 too much. When I told them to just post me a cheque, they insisted on confirming my address and postcode first. I told them to just send the cheque and once I get it, I'd confirm everything properly.

I got a call from 02045203543 pretty early today. The guy said his name was Darren and claimed he wanted to refund me some cash for my washing machine insurance. He asked if I understood what he was talking about. Then he tried to find out if the money should go into my current account or some other bank account. I ended the call right then.

So this number rang me around 5.30 on a Saturday evening, the bloke said his name was David - bit odd, they always use English names but sound like they’re from Pakistan or somewhere. He claimed he was sorting a refund for some warranty on an appliance I supposedly had. Of course, he wanted my bank info straight away. As usual, I called it out as a scam and hung up. Then they had the nerves to call back two more times! Proper thick-skinned scammers if you ask me. Don’t fall for it! By the way, I’ve never even got any cover on any appliance at all. Total scam.

Yesterday I got a call on my mobile from a woman speaking with an African accent, looking for someone who obviously isn’t at this number. When I called her out for being a scammer, she just ended the call straight away. Seems like a common trick.
