3 yearsI had a rather dubious call on my mobile from a chap who introduced himself as Richard Landry. He dialled in from an Australian number, +61 2 80067321, claiming he could assist me in reclaiming some funds tied up in a transaction from four years ago regarding NASDAQ shares that I supposedly sold through a brokerage named Standard Fidelity Limited-apparently, a notorious scam operation on a global scale. Following our conversation, I received an email from this Richard Landry, complete with that same business number at the bottom. He professed to represent a company called ALF Corporation, or All Legal Funding, or even ALFCORP. His stated email was [email protected]. However, upon investigating these claims, it appears that All Legal Funding Corporation hasn't existed in New Jersey for some time. It began operations in 2001, but curiously, it failed to submit any annual returns whatsoever. Quite the suspicious situation, wouldn't you say?Richard LandryNASDAQStandard Fidelity LimitedALF CorporationAll Legal FundingALFCORPRichard.
