They call at the most ridiculous hours and just won’t stop until you pick up. I’ve dealt with their tricks before - they try getting you to go on Google Play and then read out a string of letters and numbers to get you to open some app. It honestly seems like they’re just using you for their own gain, not to help you at all. She said I was due a refund of £202 for an overcharge. Then she asked for my date of birth, which I refused to give since I don’t even have a Sky account. Right after I said that, she went quiet and ended the call.

Thought it was my internet company calling me, but right away I knew it was a scam! The guy started with "Hello ma'am, how are you today?" and I let him know I wasn’t happy since he’d woken me up at 7.30 in the morning! Said I was going straight back to bed. When he asked when he could ring me again, I told him never! Even if I wasn’t actually in bed, 7.30am is way too early for scam calls. Now I’m stuck feeling grumpy all day because of it!

Definitely a dodgy call. A bloke rang saying he was from British Gas, claiming our contract had expired and he needed info to renew it. Thing is, we've never even had a contract with them. I suggested he email the account holder if there was one, but he said he couldn’t do that so I just ended the conversation. He rang back about five minutes later, asking for a Mr Nicholas, who doesn’t work here at all. I told him I doubted he was from British Gas and asked him not to bother calling again. He just said alright before hanging up.
