Got a call from 02045201305, no idea who it was. Let it ring through to voicemail but all I could hear was some kind of background noise, like a busy office, maybe Indian accent though not too clear. No message was left which was a bit annoying. I’m sure if I pick up they’ll try some scam on me. Unfortunately, my old phone doesn’t let me block numbers, so no luck there. Proper nuisance!

Received a call purporting to be from Sky’s technical department, stating they had information about internet speed troubles and the like. The woman on the line had an Indian accent, and the call quality was rather poor, making it apparent she wasn’t calling from the UK. Clearly, this was just another scam attempt! The first question I posed was to ask her what my name was, and lo and behold, she hung up straight away.

So, I received this rather dubious call claiming to be from Microsoft, warning me that my computer had been compromised. They insisted I take a seat at my computer... well, I cheekily replied, "I’ve got a bit of an urgent situation here, so I’ll be taking a seat on the loo instead!" Total con! Had a call from some chap named Eric Shaw claiming to be with the crime department. He went on about how my national insurance number was apparently under threat and that I was being looked into. Oddly enough, he couldn’t provide any specifics. Just a heads up! I received a dodgy call purporting to be from the "National Crime Agency," claiming my National Insurance number had been compromised. They prompted me to press 1 to be connected to an "agent." Curiosity got the better of me, so I pressed 1, although I had my suspicions it was all a con. A woman’s voice greeted me, but before she even got the chance to utter a word, I unleashed a torrent of expletives! It felt great, if not a tad cathartic, before I swiftly ended the call.

Got a call claiming to be from Sky Broadband, but it felt fishy, definitely a scam. They tried to trick me by pretending to be from Sky. Watch out, it’s not legit!

Got a call supposedly from Openreach about slow internet, but I’m not even with BT. When I told the person that, she just kept reading the same lines like a robot. Sounded totally dodgy to me, watch out for this scam!

Got a call at 7:45 in the morning from someone claiming to be with BT, saying my internet had been taken over by someone abroad. They asked about how many gadgets I had connected and if I owned a TV. When I refused to cooperate and told them it sounded like a scam, they got pretty annoyed. I just ended the call at that point.

I got a call about my internet, said they wanted to discuss my connection. But when I tried calling them back from a different phone, it just said that the number isn’t valid or something like that. Bit fishy if you ask me.

Received a call at the crack of dawn regarding an Amazon subscription or suchlike. As I've no affiliation with it, I decided to terminate the call.

Just got a call from some blokes claiming to be from the National Crime Agency, saying they’re about to cancel my National Insurance number. (Laughable, isn’t it?) Time to block that number!

I received a call claiming to be from Virgin regarding my internet service. At first, I suspected it was a call centre based in India, but as I probed with my queries, the caller became quite irritable and rude before abruptly disconnecting.

Received a call around tenish this morning and they hung up as soon as I picked up. I'd classify it as a bothersome ring, to be honest.
