I've been getting a few calls from 020 4542 2907 where no one actually talks. A few days back, I received a message claiming my IP address was hacked and telling me to ring a certain number straight away, but I forgot to note down that number. Since then, these silent calls from unfamiliar numbers have been popping up now and then. Quite suspicious if you ask me.

Total scam alert! I rang the number and they asked to get into my computer to fix the screen lock. Obviously, I said no. Then they just ended the call. Should’ve definitely looked it up before I even picked up!

Some bloke called pretending to be from Microsoft, said not to restart my computer 'cause it might mess things up. I hung up anyway, then turned my laptop off myself with no problems at all. Pretty clear to me that was a total scam.

A message popped up warning me that someone else was using my IP address and I had to ring 02046200026 for assistance. It also said not to reboot my PC or else my personal data could be nicked. I nearly dialled them but thought I’d better look up the number online first. Really pleased I did! I got rid of the warning and now running a thorough scan and clean on my laptop. Fingers crossed that sorts it all out.

someone called sayin my computer was bein used by other people. i just turned it off straight away, so not sure if it was real or some kind of scam???

Don't bother phoning them, it's a con. Totally not Microsoft. What a load of tossers.

They called saying they were from Microsoft support, claiming my computer was locked. Next thing I know, they want me to pay £149 to fix the issue.
