They claim to represent Currys and are offering a shiny new mobile phone plan that supposedly includes the latest device. They said they were calling from Carphone Warehouse but the connection was awful and the accent was hard to get. Then they began trying to fish out personal details.

The phone never even got to ring properly. When I called them back, I was hit with a 37p charge for just a few seconds of listening to some automated message. Reckon I dodged a bullet by not sticking around for the whole thing.

I picked up but didn't say anything, thinking it was one of those automated calls, and then the call just ended after a few moments. Not sure who was calling, but I'm guessing it's a scammer or something.
