Someone rang me up saying there had been dodgy activity on my Visa card. Sounds like a total scam to me.

Got a call claiming they had a 40% discount.

They started asking for my full name, date of birth and stuff.

When I asked them to prove who they were first, they said they'd verify everything later.

I told them I wasn’t sharing any info until they showed they were really from Virgin, then the line just cut off.

Got a call from someone with a strong Indian accent claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. They were pushing an "exclusive" deal that included a 40% off and a new iPhone 13. When I asked for more info, they immediately asked for my credit card details. Sounded really dodgy to me.
