Got a call claiming to be from o2 offering a huge Christmas deal, even though it’s January! They asked me to confirm some sort of verification code, which I stupidly did before it dawned on me it might be a scam. So now they probably have my number for real. If it sounds like o2, just remember they’re never that quick or slick - 1 second hold times are impossible for them. Best thing to do is just hang up and report it to Action Fraud straight away.
