I received a call that was supposedly from O2, boasting about an incredible Christmas discount - which is quite odd since it’s now January! They wanted me to confirm a verification code, and I ended up giving it to them before I realised it could very well be a scam. Now I'm left wondering if they've gotten hold of my number. Honestly, O2 is never that quick or organised, so a hold time of just one second is just laughable. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, don’t hesitate to hang up and report it to Action Fraud. Better safe than sorry!
