I received a call from a bloke claiming to be with the electricity company. When I pressed him, he switched his story and insisted he was from the National Grid. I reminded him that I’m on the Telephone Preference Service list and requested he take my number off his call list. Instead of complying, he stated he wouldn't do that and began interrogating me about the penalties from TPS, suggesting that I should inquire with them since they were supposedly offering me a service. He was quite adamant about ringing me again, and when I questioned his disregard for my TPS registration, he dismissed it completely, saying he was merely doing his job and labelled TPS as “ineffectual.”

I keep receiving calls from this chap called Adam representing npower. I've already blocked his number, but he seems determined, trying to get through multiple times a day. He even switches it up and calls from different numbers! It's quite the nuisance, really.

I’m looking to offload some electricity, but when I inquired about her phone number, she just hung up on me. I called 1471 to track the number and it turned out to be 02041332974. I tried dialling it back, only to find out it’s a dead end!
