Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, and I could barely catch what she was saying. She asked if I’d shopped online at Tesco lately and claimed I’d won some kind of prize. Then she went on to check my address, so they clearly already have my info - phone number and home address. She also wanted to know my age group and if I had any pains or health issues. I just hung up! Does Tesco really share customers’ details like that? Feels dodgy, like they might be fishing for more personal stuff, maybe bank details or DOB. Wouldn’t trust it one bit.

Avoid answering these calls, everyone. Someone rang me claiming to be from BT, Sky, and TalkTalk, saying I’d won a £50 hamper. I joked back that if she really was representing all three and giving me a hamper, then I must be Santa Claus himself up at the North Pole, since they never hand out freebies like that! I made it clear I wasn’t daft enough to share any info and that I was recording the call for the police. Unsurprisingly, the line just cut off! What a shocker!

Today, 17/11/17, at about 3.25pm, we got a call from someone claiming to be with Morrisons saying we'd won £50. They tried to check our address but mentioned an old one that we don’t live at anymore. My husband just ended the call straight away!
