Scam alert. Got a call from what sounded like my mobile provider, but it was actually some call centre in India. They said they were sending me a promo code, but really they’d tricked my phone company into sending me a security code. They then asked me for that code, which they wanted to use to get into my mobile account and do dodgy stuff like buying things on my behalf or checking my bank info. Watch out for this kind of con!
