I received a robotic message purportedly from Amazon Prime, stating that my membership renewal was scheduled for today at a cost of £79.99, which isn’t even the price I paid just three months prior-£99! The automated voice instructed me to "press 1" if I wished to cancel my renewal. I did press 1, only to be put through to a chap with a heavy Asian accent who introduced himself as Steve Jones. To put it mildly, I sent him packing! By the way, it's worth mentioning they didn’t have a clue what my name was!
