Got a call from an Asian guy with awful English, saying he was from EE and that I could get a free present (something like earbuds or earphones) plus 25% off my bill. I told him a few times I couldn’t follow what he was saying and asked him to send the gift and discount details by writing - then he just hung up. Normally I don’t pick up unknown numbers, but I was waiting on another phone-related call. Pretty sure it was a scam though. Blocked the number now.

I got a call from someone saying they were from EE, trying to offer me a discount on my bill. Funny thing is, I had a call just last week from "Three Mobile" doing the same sort of thing.

I’m not even with EE or Three. Definitely a scam.

Got a call from an Asian woman claiming to be from “Vodafone deals” about some iPhone 13 offer. I could hear other voices in the background, seemed like one of those call centre scams. Just hung up straight away - best to stay clear.

Got a call from someone wanting me to upgrade a service I never even signed up for.

Got a call from an Asian couple, quite noisy in the background, saying they were from EE offering a 20% discount on my next bills or an upgrade. They asked for my name and address, but I didn’t give it out, told them they should have that info on their system already and I’d rather go to a shop for any changes. The woman said that wasn’t an option as it’s only online. I ended the call. After reading these comments, I’m glad I didn’t trust them, sounds like a scam.

Some bloke said he was from Vodafone and could lower my bill. He wanted to know how much I pay each month, so I told him if he’s really Vodafone, he should already have that info. Then he just hung up.

Loads of these 020 numbers turn out to be dodgy calls. Just blocked it straight away.

I already reported this number - you can do it too by sending 'Call' to 7726 and then typing the number when it asks. For spam texts, just forward them straight to 7726. It works for all networks like EE, Vodafone, and the rest. The more people report, the better chance we have of stopping these annoying calls!
