This number keeps ringing me about setting up a smart meter install. I told the person on the phone yesterday that I've already had smart meters fitted three times, but each one was taken out because the mobile signal at my place is rubbish and the meter couldn't work properly. I also asked them to stop with the calls and texts I keep getting every few days. They said sorry and said they'd put a note on my number. But somehow, I still got two more calls today!

They called me 4 times yesterday, 5th December 2023. I missed two of the calls but picked up twice, and both times they knew my name and said they were from Shell. The first time I said I don’t do business over the phone and asked them to email or write instead. But they phoned again around 6.30 pm, sounded like the same bloke, same kinda Indian or Asian accent. 4 calls in a day feels like harassment... if they ring me again today I’m going to report it to the police...

This aint a scam, it’s Shell Energy ringing up to book a smart meter installation. Really frustrating tho 'cause I’ve told them stuff they don’t want a smart meter and if I do I’ll call them, still they keep phoning from loads of different numbers.
