I keep getting calls from a number that’s the same except for the last 4 digits, they ring loads from what sounds like a busy office but no one ever says a word.

Sounds like a typical busy office call, the person didn’t even say hello, just blurted some rubbish about an iPhone 12 and I just dropped the call. I picked up mostly cause the number rang more than my own mum does. No clue if it’s one of those sneaky calls that drain your credit the longer you keep listening.

I've received a staggering nine calls from numbers beginning with 020 3986... My Samsung is alerting me each time that these are likely fraudulent or spammy calls. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!

The 0203986 number (the last 4 digits keep changing) rings me about 4 or 5 times every day. I tried to just leave it, but out of frustration I finally picked up once. No one was on the line. No idea what they’re after, apart from just bothering me!

I've been receiving calls from different numbers starting with 020 3986, but the final four digits are always different. Whenever I answer, there's silence on the other end, and they never leave a voicemail. I've blocked every single one, yet the calls just keep coming.

Its clear Hoover have passed my info onto D&G so they can keep ringing me to try and sell more insurance. When I signed up for the warranty, I made it clear I didn’t want any contact from them. Seems like a sneaky tactic to squeeze extra cash out of customers. They honestly should be taken to court for this. Ive blocked their number but it just goes straight to voicemail now. Told Hoover about it but the calls haven’t stopped.

Someone called me asking about my oven (which I bought not long ago) and I accidentally said "yes" without thinking. Right after that, they hung up straight away. I feel really stupid for falling for it. Sounds like a phishing scam trying to nick my personal info. It’s so annoying how I have to play 'yes/no' games with every call these days. Now I’m going to be watching closely for any dodgy activity on my accounts.

Really irritating! Got a call right after my new dishwasher showed up, they mumbled something about a warranty and just hung up. Then they rang me another three times over the next couple of days. I didn’t pick up, but looked them up here. The reviews were enough to make me block their number straight away.

Just got a call from D&G trying to push a warranty for a washer I recently bought. Really frustrated they handed over my info to another company even tho I clearly said not to. Feels like a real breach of trust and privacy selling my details like that. Have blocked the number now.

Got a phone call, the bloke talked so quick and mumbled something about Domestic & General linked to my Beko dishwasher. He said my name when I answered, said who he was, then told me to repeat my name for “security” reasons. Sounded dodgy to me so I asked what the call was about, he said it was for registration. When I questioned why I’d need to register by phone when I could do it online, he just ended the call on me.

Got these pushy sales lot ringing me non-stop, saying I MUST pay to cover my oven. Never gave anyone the go-ahead to call me as I’m on the TPS, so it’s against the law for marketing calls. Also, I never agreed to any paid insurance when the oven comes with a free 10-year cover. Reported them to TPS for illegal harassment 6 times in just the last hour while I was working!

According to TrueCaller, this number belongs to Domestic & General Insurance. However, I find it quite peculiar that they’d ring me out of the blue, as I haven’t given them any reason to do so. In fact, my phone didn't even ring; it was blocked by my Samsung for being a potential spam or fraud attempt. I’m also registered with the Telephone Preference Service, so these marketing calls are actually against the law for me.

It’s an automated dialer linked to Domestic & General (D&G), calling for Hotpoint/Indesit/Whirlpool. The moment you pick up, someone from their team jumps on the line right away and pushes you to buy an extended warranty, even if you already declined during the product sign-up. They don’t stop ringing until you block their number.

About an hour after my new gadget showed up, they were already ringing me. Saw other messages about them, and I’m just gonna block this number. If I wanted a warranty, I would’ve asked, no need to keep hassling me on the phone. Cheers for this ‘who-called’ site, it’s really handy.

This was Domestic and General ringing up to push an extended warranty. I’m not interested in dealing with these lot. I had a warranty for my dishwasher which I ended up using. The engineer “repaired” the fault but made a mistake that caused steam to leak out. This ended up damaging my work surfaces badly. Domestic and General refused to accept any claim to sort the damage. The so called "repair" has ended up costing me about £3000 to replace the tops. You decide if it’s worth the hassle with them.

Going back to what I mentioned before, this number is part of a group of similar 0203 numbers; 02039865912 has called me 3 times in the past 6 hours. The first two times they listened to my entire answerphone message then just hung up. After I blocked the number following the second call, the third call was missed. If it was a legit call, they would've left a voicemail. Given how often they've rung and how they acted, I'm treating this as harassment. I'm located in Hastings, dialing code 01424.

Been getting loads of calls from 0203 numbers recently. When I answer, the recorded message plays all the way through then they just hang up. Numbers like 02038207749 and 02038589867, which sound similar, are flagged as risky so we've blocked them. Best to be careful if you get these calls!
