I received a phone call purporting to be from the upgrade team at Three Network. Upon probing for more details, I realised I had encountered a similar call just a few days earlier from another number (02045869100). My mate immediately sensed something was off when she heard the chap's accent, which typically has a South Asian ring to it. They often skip proper introductions and dive right into enticing offers of discounts to lure you in. It's definitely a red flag!

I got a call from a spam number, and luckily my phone flagged it as spam. I sent a message to Three’s spam number because they can block it. If you’re with Three, just text the word ‘spam’ to 37726, and they’ll reply asking for the number causing trouble. The more people report these annoying callers, the quicker they can get them banned.

Some lady called me, acting like she was from 3 or something. She had no idea who she was ringing, probably just dialing any old number she could find.

I saw two missed calls and thought I’d ring back. When I did, the person on the other end was saying something I couldn’t quite catch. Then they mentioned a promotion about a free upgrade. I told them my contract’s nearly up anyway, so no thanks. She just said alright and ended the call. What was weird is they rang again while I was still talking to her, which threw me off a bit.

This number’s a total scam. When I refused to give out my email, they got really annoyed and ended the call. I ended up ringing them back about seven times over an hour. When I finally called them out, one bloke cheekily said he was in my house with my “beautiful wife,” another straight up admitted they just wanted my bank info, and another one said he’d rethink his life decisions. Honestly, I reckon anyone should call this number back as much as possible - the more time these scammers waste on people who know what’s going on, the less time they have to bother genuine folks.

So they come round sayin' they're here to update your phone, but really they're just tryin' to get your info. Then they send you a phone that’s not right at all. When you send it back, you end up stuck with a bill and a contract you never agreed to. They make it sound like it’s all free, but trust me, it’s a total con. Don’t get caught out by it!

I received a call on Black Friday from someone masquerading as a representative of the Three network, claiming they could slash my monthly bill by a whopping 60% for my contract linked to the number they dialled. When I requested they send me the particulars via email, they seemed quite puzzled, saying they didn’t possess my email address - if they truly were Three, how could that be? I probed further about the supposed deal on the Three app, and was told it was a limited-time offer for just that day. Clearly, it’s a ruse. Best to steer clear and keep your personal information tightly under wraps when dealing with this number.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Three, offering a discount on my bill. They kept pushing to find out how much I usually pay, but I told them I'm not sharing that info since they should be the ones calling me, not the other way round. Sounded fishy and reminds me of scams I’ve had before. Be careful, don’t give them any details!

I received a rather odd call, someone claiming to be from Three, inquiring about discounting my monthly plan. However, instead of offering me any details, he expected me to divulge my personal information instead. I wasn't about to fall for that again, as I've encountered this sort of tactic before - it’s clearly a scam!

Lately, I've been getting loads of scam calls like this one. Even though I'm signed up with the TPS, I mainly only use my mobile these days instead of a landline, and it seems like these scammers are exploiting that gap. It’s really annoying because the system should definitely sort this out quickly. I didn’t answer, and I never do - just blocked the number, adding it to my ever-growing list.

I've been bombarded with calls from these folks for the past couple of days, and frankly, I've just been brushing them off after having two chats. They assert they're representing O2, and when I asked for an email with the details on their tariffs, they claimed they had dispatched it. Oddly enough, they couldn't provide the email address they used, nor could they share their own. It's all rather dodgy if you ask me. I'm not entirely convinced it's a scam, but they surely are a nuisance. I'd advise steering clear of sharing any personal information with them.

Received a call from someone claiming to be from O2, offering me a splendid 20% discount on my bill. Instantly, I realised it was a dodgy call, so I cheekily asked him if he fancied my one-time passcode to raid my account. He had the audacity to ask why I was still on the line if I thought he was a scammer! So, I told him exactly what I thought of him and swiftly put the phone down. What a right laugh!

I got a call that definitely felt like it came from abroad, the lady spoke with a mixed Asian and British accent, maybe like 80/20 or something. She said she was ringing from 02 and even told me the last four digits of my phone number. She tried to sell me a free upgrade - unlimited texts, data, and calls worldwide without any extra cost. Then she wanted to know my current bill amount, but honestly, I’m sure if they were legit, they’d know that already. They didn’t have a clue about my bill or my name. So I just hung up straight away.

Just received a dodgy call from someone purporting to be from O2. They didn't have a clue about my name or any of my details. I challenged the caller and mentioned GDPR to have my info wiped from their records. That seemed to rattle him, as he got quite rude, asking, “What are you going to do about it?” Absolutely appalling behaviour from a company that’s clearly trying to pull a fast one by pretending to offer free upgrades on phone contracts.
