I got a call claiming to be from HMRC warning about some kind of trouble if I didn’t get back to them. It sounded pretty scary, but I reckon it’s just a trick to frighten those who might be easily worried. Best thing is to just ignore it and end the call straight away.

This number just called me earlier. When I answered, there was a recorded message telling me to ring back about customs and taxes, warning that ignoring it could lead to legal trouble. Quite worrying, if you ask me!

There’s got to be some way to track these crooks down. It’s awful because vulnerable folks could end up getting tricked. Honestly, they really are the lowest of the low.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Dennis from ‘HMRC’ saying I’d face some consequences if I didn’t ring back. Sounds just like the usual scams to me - nothing like how HMRC actually operates. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!

Last week my mum got a call from someone saying she had to cough up £2,500 right away or else they’d send a warrant for her arrest. Today, I found a voicemail telling me I had to deal with legal consequences if I didn’t ring them back. Honestly, best not to pick up at all.

Got a voicemail from a robotic female voice claiming to be Dennis from HMRC, telling me to ring back with my solicitor or I'd be in big trouble legally. My partner is actually employed at HMRC and he said straight away that this was definitely a scam.

It's awful how many folks, especially those who are vulnerable, get scammed out of their hard-earned cash by these types. I really hope they had to earn money the way regular people do before pulling stunts like this. If you're ever in doubt, just look it up on Google and don't ever call numbers left in voicemails, emails, or texts. If you want to be safe, only reach out through the official website’s contact info.

I got a call from someone saying they were "Dennis" from HMRC, but the voice sounded oddly quite girly. They were warning me about serious legal trouble if I didn’t ring them back. Honestly, I’m not even thinking about returning the call and I’d tell others to stay clear of it too.
