Morning all, Last Friday, the 9th of November 2018, my missus got a call from what sounded like HM Customs in London. There was a recorded message saying they’d been trying to reach us for a while but couldn’t get through - odd since we were both out working all day! They claimed we were about to be prosecuted and advised us to ring back on 02039660879. She got a bit anxious about it, so I called that number around 3.30pm. After that, a recording came on saying nobody was available and to leave a number for contact, but I didn’t bother leaving any details. Felt dodgy to me, especially as we live on the Isle of Man which is outside their area. My guess is it was some kind of premium rate phone scam trying to catch us out.
