I was a bit uncertain, as my phone flagged the number as potentially dodgy, so I decided to let it ring out. It buzzed away for five rings before I turned it off.

This morning at 9:09 my phone went off. I answered but there was nobody speaking on the other side. I tried calling them back but as soon as they answered, they just hung up straight away!

Just got called by another one of those scammers, can’t say I’m surprised. Totally agree with what everyone else is saying on here.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, saying there was an issue with my computer. I nicely told him to leave me alone, but he ended up ringing me two more times after that. Thankfully, he hasn’t called again since then!

There's this persistent number that keeps ringing, claiming to be from Microsoft and telling us there's an issue with our laptop. Once I tell them we know it's a scam, they hang up quickly. It's been happening for ages now, really annoying. Honestly, they should just give it a rest.

Some wankers trying to pull a scam on me. I just kept them chatting for like 15 minutes saying I ain’t got a PC or anything 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Now they reckon they’re gonna block my computer or something 🙃. Absolute muppets.

They keep ringing up asking for a Mr Bailey. I told them there’s no one by that name linked to my number and asked them to take me off their call list, but all they do is suddenly end the call. Very annoying!

I got three calls from 02039559844 - two last night and then another one this morning. When I answered the first, nobody said anything. On the second call, some guy with a really thick Asian accent said he was from “Online Appliance Services”. It sounded so dodgy. Feels like a scam and quite annoying, maybe even risky.

Got a call from 02039559844, some bloke claiming he was from Microsoft. He was pretty pushy but wouldn’t share his own number, said he wasn’t allowed. Then he tried to pass me over to his “supervisor”, but it was exactly the same guy on the line! Had a bit of fun keeping him on the phone for a while before he finally gave up. Proper odd one.

I just had a dodgy call from someone pretending to be Kelvin Zoens from Microsoft Technical Support, with some fake staff number 19967. At first, it seemed legit but when I questioned them, they turned really hostile and started threatening to close my account right away. Definitely a scam, not a genuine Microsoft worker at all.

The call took a bit to start properly, and I kept saying hello a few times. Eventually, a woman with a foreign accent came on. She didn’t say who she was, but started asking how I was, which made it clear it was a spam call. I cut her off straight away and hung up.

A bloke rang me claiming to be from Microsoft and weirdly, he already knew my name even though it's not listed anywhere. When I asked if he honestly thought I’d fall for such a obvious con, he snapped at me, calling me stupid and telling me to hang up. I told him I was going to keep the chat going so he wouldn’t get to hassle anyone else. That really set him off. He went on about it being an international call and that I’d rack up a bill of at least £50, which is rubbish. He got more and more angry because I refused to hang up. After a bit, the line just went dead.

Got a ring at about 8:20 on a Saturday morning, some bloke claiming he was from Microsoft saying my PC had problems. I thought I'd have a bit of fun and play along, calling him out as a fraud to wind him up and maybe get him to quit. He was really determined though, nearly a bit rude. Gotta give him credit for sticking with it, but after 10 minutes or so, I just ended the call. Didn’t hear from him again.

Right from the start, they told me my computer was seriously compromised, which sounded like total nonsense. They wanted me to open it up, but when I asked where they were calling from, they claimed to be 'Microsoft'. I told them I use an Apple, and they just hung up. Definitely felt like a dodgy scam. The number was 02039559844, seemed like a mainline.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Microsoft, said he was based in Reading. He wanted to get hold of the main user of my PC, but I told him no one specific used it. When he picked up on my suspicion that it might be dodgy, he quickly tried to ease my mind by saying it wasn’t a hardware issue, just something to do with Windows 10. Then he asked for someone with the initials **, but I told him that wasn’t possible. After that, he just hung up. Gotta admit, his English was much clearer than the usual scammers, and he sounded quite believable.
