This time the call said there was a purchase over £1,000 on an Amazon account I dont even have! Got a call from this number at 8.36 this morning but didn’t pick up. Had two calls really early yesterday from different unknown numbers too. Honestly, I’m so over these random calls, I just don’t bother answering anymore. I block one number and then they call from another one. I’ve stopped replying since I don’t have an Amazon Prime account, and even though I know Inland Revenue scams aren’t real, they still freak me out. These scammers really should be taken to court, they’re just harassing and scaring normal folks for no good reason.

This number called my phone at 07:47, 08:37 and 09:08 yesterday morning. When I picked up the second call, there was just a weird ‘squeaky’ noise and then they hung up. It definitely sounded like it was coming from overseas! It’s so frustrating getting calls that early, especially when I’d only just got to sleep at half past five that morning. Got a voicemail saying my National Insurance number was gonna be cancelled due to fraud. They asked me to press 1 to talk to someone. Knew right away it was dodgy. Still pretty unsettling though.

Got a recorded call saying my NI number would be suspended. Sounded like a total scam to me.

Pure spam most of the time, unless maybe a mate or relative in London’s calling. What I do is just block the call, jot down the number, then look it up online to check who’s ringing. You’ll find tons of reports usually. Even through this whole pandemic madness, these crooks keep tricking people and lying to get cash.

I got a call from 02039546379 where a robotic voice claimed they were from the National Crime Agency and that my National Insurance number had been suspended. Definitely a scam, don't fall for it!

Received a call from this number just now, claiming there was some dodgy activity on my Amazon account involving a £1000 purchase. They told me to press 1 to secure my account and all that, but I was suspicious and didn’t press any buttons. They hung up after that. Come to think of it, after checking this post, it’s clearly a scam!!

I ended the call as soon as I answered because it was clearly a robotic call or scam. In hindsight, I should have checked the caller ID before answering and declined the call. However, since I had just woken up and was still half asleep, I made the mistake of wasting my own time. It's quite funny now when I think about it.
