This evening around 7.30, my mum got a call on her home phone from this number. All she could hear was a strange whimpering noise - no talking, just like someone upset or scared. She was quite concerned and asked me to check who it might be. I looked it up and got some info now, but I’m not sure if it’s connected to a scam or something else. The call came with complete silence and then ended abruptly. Curious, I dialled the number back. An automated voice with a clear American accent started going on about unsubscribing, asking for my postcode, phone number and other details. Well, that’s a bit suspicious, isn't it?
