Got a recorded call from a person saying they're with HMRC, warning that if I didn't hit 1, I'd be getting arrested. Total scam, be careful lads!

Being on the TPS really helps when dodging random calls. Got a call from a foreign woman trying to flog something from a company I’d never heard of - Evergreen, or something like that. When I asked what the actual product was, she just repeated her usual sales spiel I’d already heard before. Turns out it was some strange cavity wall insulation thing. Told her I wasn’t interested and just hung up. Honestly, these calls shouldn’t be happening in the first place.

i got a call from a nice sounding young woman, maybe filipino, who mentioned she worked for a company called evergreen, something to do with energy. sounded a bit dodgy to me so i just hung up without confirming anything, even though she did ask for me by name. think it was probably a scam.

Didn’t answer 'cause I didn’t know the number. Didn’t bother picking up.
