Woman from ASA northwest phoned me today claiming they sent an invoice back in March but held off following up because of covid 19. Thing is, I never got any invoice from them, nor did I ever agree to advertise with their firm. I’ve told them to quit calling me or I’ll report them for harassment. I’ve got enough to deal with at work without getting these irritating calls from strangers insisting I pay for something I never signed up for.

Someone called me claiming to be Katie from ASA North West Ltd, saying I ordered some booklets and now owe £250, plus I had to pick a secondary school or they'd pick one for me. I told them I've never dealt with them before and asked for an invoice sent to my email, but I still haven't received anything. This is the second time they've called me within 2 months. After seeing this site, I’m definitely going to report them to trading standards.

Got a call from someone named Lisa from Asa Northwest asking me to cough up £250 for some sponsorship she claimed I agreed to. Total dodgy behaviour. She mentioned she’d send an invoice but said she’d scrap it since I told her I never said yes. The caller ID showed as private number.

Had pretty much the same thing happen to me. We supposedly sponsored a youth awareness pamphlet in October, but didn’t hear a word until February when they suddenly started asking for payment. No details, no invoice, no evidence of any order. Then, out of nowhere, they emailed a poorly put together invoice and letter on the same day. Silence again until yesterday, and now they’re asking for money once more. I’m done with it and have decided to report them to citizens advice.

ASA Northwest Ltd is doing the same thing again! Kelly R######s called my business this morning about paying an invoice from May 2018 for sponsoring some Adolescent Awareness Guide. I wasn’t in at the time so she left this number to call back: 0161 4948261. I've dealt with them before on 2nd June 2019 (check comments below). I rang back but didn’t bother asking for the amount cos I wasn’t paying a penny. They’re just a bunch of dodgy scammers, don’t fall for it.

I got a call from this firm with the exact same story they mentioned here. I asked them to post me the info and just got it today. The letter’s poorly put together and the certificate doesn’t seem legit at all. Seems like a total scam to me. The letter came from ASA North West Ltd but the phone number they used, 0161494 8261, was different.

I agreed to sponsor a booklet for a nearby secondary school and paid the first £250. Now they’re telling me they’ve put a CCJ on my company for not paying a monthly fee of £199. I got a call just like the one mentioned from 4/4/18 - seems these lot are back at it again, though the number might be different. I found ASA North West when I googled the company name! They want either £250 or £125, claiming if you pay within a week you get a discount. Supposedly they sent a wristband and pen in March after the first call where they said we agreed to it (no such call happened!). I asked them to send me all the details by email, but never got anything. They don’t even have a proper website. Total rip-off.

I found this website after searching for ASA Northwest. They called me yesterday out of the blue, asking for money because apparently I sponsored them in some booklet. They don’t keep any call recordings or send emails to confirm anything. Then today, a certificate showed up in the post.

If anyone has had any experience with this firm, I’d really suggest getting in touch with your local fraud police. Loads of these things never get reported, so they just keep carrying on with it. I reckon they might also go by the name A T Clayon or something like that instead of A C. Most of the calls come from numbers that are blocked these days.

I ended up sponsoring a leaflet from Bee Safe Promotions Ltd about child safety and paid the first bill. After getting the booklet, I found it totally unsuitable for the secondary school it was meant for. There were just a few pages of obvious info in big letters and a very simple word search. When they rang again, I told them no more orders, but the calls for unpaid invoices kept coming. Honestly, these lot are a nightmare and I reckon they've rebranded as ASA North West Ltd (Adolescence Safety Awareness) 'cos they were the last ones who got in touch with me.

Got a ring from 020 3807 8560, they called a charity shop for a hospice, claiming they'd be sending an invoice for books that were never ordered. The voicemail had an email [email protected][###], which ended up bringing me here to read this thread.

I just got another call from them but now they’re calling themselves AC something, saying I’ve sponsored a college with these booklets. Before that, they were using the name DATA. They keep using the same password, like that’s gonna fool anyone. I’m seriously thinking of ringing the police to report this. They did send some booklets, but they’ve been really pushy about it. The woman on the phone flat out refused to admit they’d switched their name.

Just got a call from someone called Martin at Be Safe promotions saying I agreed to sponsor 32 books for a nearby school. When I said I didn’t remember any of this, he used my birth month and year as some sort of password I supposedly gave. The number he rang from was 0203 011 2175, but when I tried calling back, it went straight to voicemail saying all operators were busy and they’d get back to me. They said they’re sending me an invoice and some proof of the order in the post. Will be curious to see if it actually turns up.

I’m so relieved I’m not alone in this. I just got a really bad call from this firm and it left me feeling unsettled, worried I might have agreed to something I never would. Luckily, my son helped me track down this website to check if my doubts were right - turns out they’re not a genuine company and I can just ignore the bill they claim they’re sending.

Had the exact same nonsense from these muppets. They claimed we’d supposedly agreed back in March to back a child safety booklet. Nothing we’d ever do, never got any letters or anything about it. This is just the first bit of a message that goes on in four parts. Ive been getting bothered by Bee Safe promos for over four years now. At first, it seemed alright. They told me about a plan to get children’s safety guides into schools, with local businesses able to sponsor them. Since I’ve worked in teaching and education all my life, and now I write children’s books as a self-employed writer, it sounded like a nice opportunity and something I wanted to be part of. But as time went on, I started to feel less comfortable about how the whole thing was going.

Part 4. re.01035 198149 So, I’ve realised now that I was duped into handing over cash, which I did trusting them, and I guess it’s on me. A few months back I replied to an email supposedly from HMRC about a company (can’t recall the name) linked to Bee Safe, involved in making child safety stuff, which was apparently being looked into for insolvency. Part two. I seen a few people saying the scheme never existed. Well, it did, but that don’t mean it was legit. The stuff they sent was poor quality: I could have just grabbed the same content from online, copied it and printed it myself for a quarter of what they wanted. BEE SAFE PROMOTIONS LTD is giving us the exact same hassle. A very rude bloke kept calling, and a woman who sounds like she's on a dodgy mobile signal. Whenever we asked about the invoice, they just hung up on us. Today, they've sent us yet another badly written invoice asking for £261.99, but there's no breakdown of what exactly they’re charging for. We've reached out to Trading Standards and they told us to get the police involved if they keep hassling us. Our tip? Don’t give them a penny. It’s definitely a scam!

No names mentioned, but they keep calling from a private number claiming we owe cash for an advert we never put up. They say they've sent reminders about overdue payments, but we never received any original invoice and DEFINITELY DID NOT PLACE ANY ADS. They were pushy and rude, refused to speak to anyone except the account holder, and couldn’t provide a copy of the advert. TOTALLY A SCAM, don’t pay a penny. FYI, the caller’s number is now blocked so you can't see who’s calling, and they’ve even used a Cheltenham area code. BE WARNED!

have a look on trust pilot about this site. Bee Safe Promotions Ltd are NOT a scam and they send publications to schools exactly as clients ask, using tracked Royal Mail. The materials are really helpful and full of important info that schools dont normally teach, so its a great way to educate kids about these matters. DEFINITELY NOT A SCAM!! the reviews on trust pilot are really unfair, so check it out yourself.

As for the 09/08/2018 call, I reported it to Action Fraud, which you can easily find online. Make sure to keep your invoice as proof. Next time they call, just tell them to get lost and hang up straight away. That’s exactly what I did.

A month ago these fraudsters tricked my dad into giving them £350, saying his account was emptied. They called last week pretending to thank him. Then today they phoned again, telling him he’d only covered one invoice but supposedly owed four more payments?? Bee Safe Promotions made me report them to Action Fraud after they kept calling saying I'd agreed to an ad or something. Got an email about a week ago from Greater Manchester police saying they're investigating. Feeling pretty relieved now!

Had a proper run-in with this aggressive bloke named James from BSP - Bee Safe Promotions. I ended up hanging up on them because they’re a total con! Their whole setup is dodgy as hell. They try to force this awful contract on you over the phone, recordings or no recordings. When ‘James’ mentioned the local school supposedly getting some booklet, I rang the school secretary straight away to give them a heads up about these fraudsters using their name. Don’t hand over a single penny to these scammers. Don’t let them scare you. Just hang up and don’t bother with any chat!

TOTAL RIPOFF - Forget that comment from 06/06/18 saying they’re a legit customer. I’ve looked into it thoroughly after they kept pestering me non-stop for almost a month. Complete con job, and really hard to get rid of. I’ve reported them already. Don’t hand over a single penny, just tell them to shove off!

Honestly, I cant agree with the negative things being said about Bee Safe Promotions. Ive used their services myself and had nothing but a good experiance. Theyre doing a really important job by educating kids about stuff they should know about, which is great in my opinion. They even kindly gave to a charity I care about, which shows they really mean well. Can people please stop spreading unfair talk about them?

I’ve been getting loads of calls from these lot, really puts me off picking up. Got treated the same way as others have said here. It’s such a relief to finally be able to tell them to stop bothering us. Honestly, how do they sleep at night? Why don’t they just find a legit job instead?

Bee safe Promotions Ltd rang me claiming we'd agreed last year to get their school Safety Booklet. The amount they said we owed kept going down during the call if we paid straight away. They then emailed an invoice saying if we paid by day's end it would reduce to £100. The invoice had tiny print saying it was a year's subscription with quarterly payments. I responded saying we never signed up and wouldn't pay anything and warned I'd report their business for dodgy practices. Haven't heard a peep since but I’ve already reported them to ActionFraud and Trading Standards.

Bee safe Promotions - if these folks ring you, don’t be fooled, it’s nothing to do with charity. They’re a dodgy company that’ll tell you you agreed to something ages ago that’s supposedly ready now. Watch what you say and never share ANY info because they record everything. Don’t even mention the name of your local school, they’ll try to turn it into some kind of order. They scrape your info online and use it to trick you into believing you’ve had dealings with them before. If you’re unsure, tell them you’ll contact the police and see how they react!!

Bee safe Promotions - if these lot ring you up, dont be fooled, it’s not a charity, just some dodgy company claiming you agreed to something ages ago but now it’s activated. Watch what you say and NEVER give them any info cos they record everything - don’t even mention your local school’s name, as they’ll try to spin it like you placed an order. They scrape info off the internet and use it to trick you into thinking you know them. I’d say mention you’ll report them to the police and see how they react if you’re unsure!!

About a fortnight ago I got a call from this number again. I kept telling them the connection was awful and I couldn’t understand a word, saying I’d call back later. I knew exactly what it was about - they keep ringing saying we’ve agreed to sponsor some school booklets or something. A while ago they even tried to scare me by saying bailiffs were coming over some made-up debt! Of course, no one ever showed up. These calls come twice a week at least, but I just ignore the number now. They’re annoyingly stubborn, but it’s all just rubbish.

A couple of months back, I had a chat with Be Safe Productions, or so I thought. Now, they're coming after me with an unpaid invoice out of the blue. They basically twist your words to make it sound like you agreed to something, like an ad in a kids' road safety leaflet or something. I’d steer clear of them, it’s a total hassle.

Got a call at work from this number claiming to be from "BSE" about some invoice that supposedly had to be paid by tonight. When we asked for more info, they wouldn't say anything else. We put them on hold and they just ended the call. Definitely a scam call.

Just got a phone call where some bloke claimed I’d promised in October to pay for school fees. When I asked him to send over the recording of that agreement, he abruptly ended the call. Crazy how quick they hang up when questioned!

Someone rang me claiming their name was James and said they were with BSP. He wanted to speak to the company director. I told him they weren’t in and asked if I could note down a message. He replied ‘Alright then’ and just hung up straightaway! I’ve gotten calls from them before and honestly, they’ve been quite impolite every time. My advice? Just don’t pick up when they ring.

Last year my dad was really unwell and ended up paying them because he just wanted it all to be over. Now they keep calling saying he still owes money. I've blocked their number but it keeps trying to ring through. They claim it’s from some flyer he supposedly agreed to, but he swears he never saw anything like that. It’s really upsetting for him, especially since he’s nearly 80.

This number has called me three times today, with a bloke speaking in a Manchester accent claiming I signed up to sponsor some kidsafe booklets for a school. When I asked when I supposedly agreed to this, he said August last year (which is funny because that’s exactly when BEE SAFE PROMOTIONS LTD got set up). He reckons I made a verbal contract, but I certainly never did. Asked to hear a recording of it, and now they’re threatening court - I’m actually quite amused! By the way, the guy gets really short and rude as soon as you question him.

Got a call today from 020 3936 8382, some bloke saying he was from HMRC. He had a strong foreign accent and kept being really pushy, threatening me with court next Tuesday over some unpaid taxes. I was a bit worried at first, but when I asked why I hadn’t received any letters or official notices, he got really nasty and started shouting. I just hung up on him straight away.

Been getting calls from this number, at least three times already. They’re claiming I owe £199 and offering a discount if I pay right then over the phone. Got a call on the 28th of March around half past three in the afternoon. Same old story, really.

Got a call from a London code but the bloke chatting had a proper Manc accent. These annoying lot have been bothering me on and off for like 6 or 7 years now. They call themselves Road Safety Magazine. They always say you agreed to something over the phone, saying they've got it all recorded, though I've never actually heard them play the so-called proof when I asked. Honestly, the easiest thing is just to stay silent, hang up quick and if you can, get a call blocker on your phone.

This number phoned me just after midday today, around 12:04. The man on the line claimed they distribute a Child Safety Booklet to schools everywhere. Sure, whatever! It really reminded me of a call I got years ago, in 2014, where they said I’d signed up to advertise in some Crime Prevention Booklet. As if! “Crime Prevention,” yeah right. I reported that nonsense to Action Fraud back then... and I'll be doing the same now. They’re obviously pulling a scam, I’m well aware it’s rubbish, and shortly Action Fraud will be in the loop again.

So this person rang up asking for my manager by name, said we’d put an ad in some "education mag" that supposedly reaches nearby schools. When I asked them for the mag’s actual name, they suddenly got all defensive and acted like I was making it hard for them. Doesn’t seem like how a legit caller would behave at all.

Just got a call from this very number again. The person said he was Richard Taylor from some company called ESP, and he wanted to speak to the business owner with a 'thank you' message. They keep switching up names and business stuff, trying to trick people into giving out details. Watch out, it’s definitely dodgy.

I got a call from 020 3936 8382 where the person on the other end was reciting my personal info and insisted we’d run a print ad with them last November. Which we've never done. When I asked why they were ringing and how they got my info, the caller got all evasive. I told them we weren’t interested, but they kept speaking down to me, so I just hung up. Even though the number is from London, it reminded me of some company up near Bolton that tries to trick businesses by saying they’ve done adverts for magazines that don’t even exist. Seems very dodgy to me. Highly likely just a scam.
