Today, I received a rather dodgy phone call from this number. A lady with a foreign accent claimed I had won a lottery of some kind! When I mentioned that I hadn't signed up for any lottery, she insisted it was a free entry and that my name was selected at random. It all seems like a right load of nonsense to me!

They called me three times claiming I won the lottery, total scam. I blocked the numbers but then they kept ringing from different ones. Feels like it’s gonna be a while before these scammers give up.

Someone rang me saying they was from 777 Lotto. When I asked if I needed to share any info on the phone, they said yes, but only my name and sort code. They were trying to sound like a proper bank, warning me not to give any other details to callers. I told them I’d ring my bank to be sure, and then they got all defensive and rude. Definitely a scam - there's no way I’m giving out personal info like that on a call!
