I got caught out by someone pretending to be from O2 saying I had to swap my SIM card. They asked for a £1.00 fee, which I foolishly put through on my debit card. Then I had to waste hours sorting it all out with O2 to cancel the fake order and ring my bank to block my card. If you get a call like that, just hang up straight away!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with o2, saying they’d send me a SIM card for free with no contract changes. They said they’d put me through to a manager to get it sorted. I played along for a bit but ended the call. After that, they kept ringing me back loads of times.

Somebody rang me saying they were from O2 and that I had to get a replacement SIM. But when I phoned O2 myself, they said that wasn't true.
