I received a call that I quickly identified as a telemarketer; the woman on the other end came across as rather unpolished, reminiscent of a tipsy Scouser trying to sell me something while on the dole (no offence intended). She started off claiming to represent O2 but then bizarrely mentioned a different firm altogether, something from ‘next’. I had my suspicions before I even picked up the phone, so I decided to toy with her a little until she brought up the need for some security questions. At that point, I just cut the call.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Vodafone about a business account. I don’t hold the account myself, so I told them that straight away. It sounded a bit off since they couldn't provide any other numbers connected to the account. I mentioned I didn’t have the details of the actual account holder and said they should ring back another time.

Beware of yourmobile.com! They are relentless in their cold calls, attempting to pressure you into upgrading your phone contract. Think of them as a more aggressive version of Carphone Warehouse. Best to steer clear of them!

I got a call from a woman saying she was from Vodafone, telling me I had to switch to a more expensive plan because supposedly I was a business customer. I argued with her about it, and then she just hung up on me.
