3 yearsI received a rather curious phone call from a chap named "Mike," who had a rather thick accent. He claimed to be associated with something like Opcom or Optcom-it's a bit muddled, to be honest-talking about enhancing my "call-blocking service." When I probed deeper, he just kept parrotting, "we block calls," before abruptly cutting the line. After that, I dialled 1471 to trace the number, and upon selecting the "press 3" option, I was met with a robotic voice inviting me to choose from "billing," "sales," or "customer support." I must say, I wasn't tempted to proceed with any of that!MikeOpcomOptcom3 yearsI’ve been receiving persistent cold calls regarding property development from this number. He mentioned something about enhancing the protection on my phone against unwanted calls today. I cut him off before he could continue, so I'm not sure if he intended to request any payment details or personal info. Interestingly, the same number had contacted me a couple of days earlier, but the call dropped as soon as I picked up.BT3 yearsClearly a dodgy caller. They didn’t utter a word, but there was that characteristic pause before they connected, just like the ones you often get from those Indian call centres. Plus, I could hear some chatter in the background.3 yearsI received a call on the 1st of March 2023, but they didn't pick up.3 yearsRang me twice, but when I picked up, there was no one there.
