So many hidden lies out there messing with our lives and everything feels full of dodgy stuff. INDIAN PHONE SCAMMER here. First they asked for my ADDRESS. Then they wanted to know my AGE, HEIGHT, WEIGHT, Skin Colour, and Eye Colour. By the third call, they were asking for MY BANK DETAILS. The scammer said: "Please give me your BANK account." I said NO ... I aint got that, mate.

Dont pick up the phone when its these indian scammers callin.. its always them.. called me 2 times today.. 3 times yesterday.. and even next day again.. its every week .. always those indian scam calls. Really annoying!

Got a call from someone saying they worked for some Housing Group, representing the Government, about getting compensation for disrepair from councils and housing associations due to neglect caused by COVID. Felt like a total fishing scam. When I asked about charges, he just said something like ‘no win, no fee’, meaning he’d take money if the claim went through. Ended the call straight away.

Some woman named Penny rang me claiming she was from the housing disrepair team about mould issues in my house. While talking to her, I tried looking up the number to see if it was legit, but it wasn’t. Unfortunately, I’d already given them my date of birth, address, and email. They asked me to send photos of the damage and said a solicitor would ring me the next day. Right after I hung up, I got a call from 07437 661216 saying it was HMRC and that I’d been caught up in fraud. I hung up straight away and realised it was all just a scam.
