some guy with a terrible accent calling me up asking about a small traffic accident that supposedly happened recently!

I picked up the phone even though the number was unfamiliar to me. It took me a few tries asking what firm she was from before the woman told me it was about an accident I apparently had, which I never did. I got suspicious and questioned her more, and then she just ended the call. I've blocked the number now.

Today, I received a rather intrusive phone call from a bloke inquiring whether I had been involved in a car crash lately. Given that I haven’t had any such incident, I politely told him to shove off, as I’m all too familiar with these kinds of dodgy scams.

This number rang me up, claiming I had an accident and that there's a cheque waiting for me as compensation. I mentioned the lawyer handling my case twice, and as soon as I did, the bloke just hung up on me. Proper cheeky behaviour, honestly!

Got a call from a guy with a weird accent who tried to say my name but messed it up. He then asked if I’d been in a car crash and claimed he had my files about the incident. I kept asking who allowed him to see my info, had to repeat myself a few times! Then he suddenly said he was my legal rep - honestly, I couldn’t help but laugh. Told him exactly what I thought about the cheeky call and he just hung up on me - proper rude! :)

my landline just keeps ringing every morning with the same irritating call. i tried hitting 9 on my phone to stop it, fingers crossed it works. cant understand why the government doesnt step in to sort out these annoying calls.

Got a call on my mobile, they wanted info about a car crash, but the person they were asking about doesn’t even drive! Pretty strange.
