5 yearsI got a call from someone saying his name was Sam, claiming he was from a compliance team representing several insurance firms like Aviva, AIG, Royal London and Scottish Widows. Didn’t really make it clear which company he was actually from. Tried to coax me into handing over personal details. His approach was all wrong - nothing like the professional style you'd expect with legit organisations. Seemed like he was using old info cause it didn’t add up. He was throwing around terms like misselling to try and hook me in to share more. Definitely not who he said he was. Once I questioned his authenticity and voiced my doubts, he turned quite hostile and started being rude.SamAIGAvivaRoyal LondonScottish Widows5 yearsSo this guy told me his name was Mark Ryan, said hello, and then just dropped the call outta nowhere. Weird!Mark Ryan5 yearsI got a call from what I suspect was a scammer. The moment I picked up, the line went dead, so I rang them back. The bloke on the other end was really rude and condescending, trying to pry info out of me. He even made a snide remark about my name, asking where it might be from and rattled off a list of countries. Then he asked if I spoke English, even though it was obvious I did. After that, he bizarrely questioned if I was human because he supposedly had my insurance details linked to an address I've never lived at, and then he implied I might have some mental health issues. Not once did I give him any details, nothing at all. Honestly, I want to report both him and the firm he represents - they were shockingly disrespectful!5 yearsThey told me they were ringing from a life insurance firm and that it was time to renew my policy.Submit Your Own Report (020 3925 3995)
