Today, I got a call from a bloke saying he was from some company called ACG, telling me my washing machine insurance had run out. I asked him to wait a moment, but then he just hung up on me. It felt a bit dodgy to me since I’m actually covered by a different insurer who always sends me letters through the post. So yeah, I didn't trust that call one bit.

Some bloke from ACG or whatever calling about washing machine insurance, rang me out the blue. My cover for the washer renews by itself and I always get a letter about it, so this call felt fishy. I've had stuff like this before. I just told him I’m not interested and ended the call sharpish. Pretty sure they’re after my card info or something dodgy like that!

I hope he doesn’t end up in any trouble, just seems like a proper mug who’s bound to fail. Really sad, no ethics or skills, and I doubt he’s got much going for him in the long run...

He never even said anything, just asked if my husband was there. When I told him it was Mrs, he hung up straight away. I tried ringing back but the line was busy. That’s another one added to my blocked numbers for nuisance calls.

I got a bit annoyed and said "Can I help you?" after waiting a bit longer, then suddenly the call just dropped. I could hear what sounded like office noises in the background before the line went dead. Strange!

Today I got a phone call, and when I picked up, it turned out to be one of those recorded messages. It's the very first time I've had a call like that - before this, it was always a real person on the other end. The message was saying my internet might stop working within the next 12 to 24 hours.
