Received a call at precisely 17:18 today (26/07/22). Upon picking up, the caller requested to speak to me directly. I picked up on a slight accent and decided to tell them they must have dialed incorrectly, asking them to remove my number from their list. The chap then replied, "I know it's you, xxxxxxx." I pressed for his identity, only for him to repeatedly utter my first name. I sought clarification once more, and he asked, "Don't you recognise my voice, xxxxxxx?" Not knowing how to respond, I remained silent, and he continued to repeat my name. Eventually, I just ended the call. I'm utterly baffled as to who it could have been, especially since the number shown was from London. Now, I'm feeling anxious it might be those pesky scammers who managed to drain my bank account last year, posing as representatives from my bank.

I tried to arrange a meeting for tomorrow with someone who presented themselves as BT Openreach. Turned out they were just spinning yarns! I wouldn’t trust them at all!
