Got a call from a woman asking for some bloke I’ve never heard of. When I asked who was calling, she rattled off something so quick I didn’t catch a word. She repeated it a few times, but honestly, seems like whoever they are, they don’t want you to find out. I just told her to stop messing about, hung up, and blocked the number straight away. It was one of those 0203 numbers - scam city as usual. Wish I had some sort of wildcard blocker on my phone to stop these annoyances for good.

I received a rather peculiar phone call from someone who introduced herself as Jessica, supposedly representing Curry's. She mentioned something about my washing machine warranty. However, when I inquired about the brand, she stated HOTPOINT. This immediately raised my eyebrows since I don’t own a Hotpoint model, nor have I ever made a washing machine purchase from Curry’s. Just as I was about to press for more details, she abruptly cut the call. Quite bizarre, isn’t it?

They pressured me to pay £180 for a 3-year plan, saying it was cheaper than what I currently pay - which it totally isn’t. It felt like a total con.
