I just received a rather dubious call purporting to be from the "BT Technical Department," claiming that my internet service was about to be interrupted for a couple of days unless I complied with their instructions. The chap on the other end, who introduced himself as "Sandi Martin," insisted he could rectify the issue-if only I would log onto my computer and follow some so-called easy steps. Naturally, I had to inform him that he was nothing more than a con artist and that he should do one! His subsequent insults were rather entertaining, albeit concerning, as I worry that older or less tech-savvy individuals might genuinely fall for this scam. Just a heads up, everyone! - Caller: Crooked scammer
