Got a call from some bloke called Archie at Orbis Foreign Exchange on 020 3918 5627, asking to speak with Accounts Payable about some transaction. Clearly just trying to fish for details by getting me to pass them on. Told him straight we weren’t interested and asked to be taken off their list. Archie kept trying to coax more info out of me though. After saying no a few times and realising it was just going in circles, I hung up. If they ring again, I’m definitely reporting them to the ICO.

Got a call from some place called Orbis, supposedly about foreign exchange. They seemed quite sketchy, especially when I asked if they were calling from a company or a home - they couldn’t even decide what to say! Felt like a total scam to me.

Got a call from an FX sales guy who just wouldn't take no for an answer. I kept telling them I wasn't interested but they just kept going on and on. Proper relentless, honestly.

Even when I politely tell them I'm not interested, they somehow manage to drag the call out forever. Once they’ve got you hooked, it’s nearly impossible to make them quit calling. I've had to block their number now.

I got a call about some foreign exchange thing, sounded proper convincing and well spoken, but it was total rubbish. Definitely a scam in my book.

Some bloke called me, said he was Archie from some money exchange place in London. When I asked him to say where he was calling from again, the line got a bit fuzzy, but he acted super sure and even knew my name, which was odd. I said I wasn’t interested and asked to chat with someone who might be. Then I just hung up and blocked the number.

So I got a call from someone named Becky who said she was ringing from Orbis. She wouldn’t really say what it was about, just kept going on about some supplier payment and needing to talk to accounts payable. When I tried to get more details about which account or project they meant, she started getting a bit annoyed. I’m relieved to find out now that this has been flagged as a potential scam and it’s best to avoid any dealings with them.

some bloke named ryan phoned me from this number, asking for the accounts payable team. he pretended there was an issue with a supplier payment and claimed to be calling for ben. don’t get fooled by his act, he was being sneaky and dodged straight answers for ages. kept pushing to talk to accounts over and over again.

i've been trying to get through to accounts payable because I've already told them to remove our number from their marketing calls, it's actually a legal thing to do so.

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise, sounded pretty dodgy, probably some scammer trying their luck.

Orbis, some forex broker from overseas rang me up out of the blue, trying to seem different by going on about some industry associations or whatever. But honestly, they come across just like any other cold-calling forex outfit. Told them I hardly ever deal with forex transfers and they quickly lost interest.

Got a call from someone claiming they were with Orbis regarding currency exchange. Told them I wasn’t interested straight away, but they kept pushing really hard. Asked them firmly to take my info off their list and it turned quite awkward, they just kept bouncing back to their sales routine. By the end, he said I couldn’t get my number taken off properly but hinted maybe there was a way he could help, which was a bit dodgy.

We got a call from someone saying they wanted to chat about payments we supposedly made before, which was totally wrong. When we told them to take our info off their system, they got really stroppy about it.

02039185627 keeps ringing, it’s some company named ‘Orbis’. Looks like one of those dodgy foreign exchange scams. Honestly, folks from 0203 must be desperate for something to do today. We really don’t need these nuisances blocking calls from proper people. Everyone’s got enough on their plate right now without this hassle.

Had a couple of calls in just two days from some foreign exchange agents. They kept insisting they needed to speak to our accounts team, pretending there was some sort of payment issue when really, they were just trying to peddle their forex services. Definitely feels like hassle more than a helpful call.
