I got a call from a bloke with an accent that sounded middle eastern, claiming he was calling from MyHeritage. He tried to pitch me a discounted membership, but when I mentioned I’d already emailed MyHeritage about something, he politely wrapped up the chat. Not entirely sure if it was the real deal or just a scam to be honest.

I just clicked on a MyHeritage email link and then got a call that showed up as "Suspected Spam" on my phone, so I decided not to pick up. Reading through what others here wrote, it seems like it was probably some kind of telemarketer trying to sell something.

I'd advise against picking up the phone since they're still making calls to unsuspecting folks. They've just tried contacting me for the first time, looking for someone I recognise. I asked repeatedly to find out who they were, but they just wouldn't divulge any information. Eventually, they hung up without a word.

Got a robo call that said it was from Amazon Prime, but it’s dodgy. The message kept pushing me to press 1 to speak to someone, and I could hear loads of noise like a call centre in the backgrond. I rang up Amazon myself, and they told me they don’t do calls like this at all. Apparently, a bunch of other people have had the same thing happen too. Watch out for these scammers!

Got a call claiming to be from My Heritage, but they were just trying to sell me something. Typical sales pitch.

I got a call from My Heritage on this phone even though I’d already stopped my subscription. They tried to tempt me with a special offer, dropping the price from £167 to £123. I told them I’m not working and can’t afford anything right now, so they said they’d end the call. It was a London number but the bloke sounded like he was calling from Israel.
