Someone called me saying they could reduce my monthly charge for my EE phone line. It felt dodgy because loads of people seem to be reporting the same scam. So, I just hung up before they could say more.

I asked the guy to ring me later, and he gave me this number - 07418 370376. When he called back, it really felt like one of those call-centres. Was trying to sell me some deal to cut down on my phone bills.

My wife got a call from 020 39121280, with someone trying to convince her they'd lower her monthly bill for her Three UK mobile contract. I looked up the number online and found out its linked with scams. We ended up cancelling her bank card right away to be safe.

On the 8th of October, I got a call from this number claiming to be from EE, and somehow they already had my bank info and my address. They asked me for the long number from my card, but I didn’t give it to them. After that, I got an email saying I ordered an iPhone 13, which I definitely didn’t. It’s mad how they got hold of my bank details in the first place. How do these scammers even get so much personal info?

Got calls from someone claiming to be EE offering discounts. They managed to keep my elderly family member talking for a whole hour and kept ringing back over several days. Proper annoying!

These people rang me up saying I was eligible for a 40% EE discount. They already had my bank info and exact bill figures, so I thought it was legit. But then I got an email from EE saying I’d bought an iPhone 13, which I definitely never did. In the end, everything was cancelled, but my account password and linked email got switched without my say so.

I got a call from someone acting like they were EE, sounded pretty convincing like it was an actual call centre. They tried to get me to hand over my bank info, saying they had a ‘brilliant deal’ for me. After that, they mentioned sending a ‘free gift basket’ just to make sure they could get my address.

Got a call from a person pretending to be EE, trying to sell me a new plan with some “special discount”. After that, I was bombarded with 9 emails and 2 calls from abroad, one from France and another from Denmark. They told me to ring 02039121280 for more details. Definitely a scam, so I blocked everything straight away. Watch out everyone!

I got a call from a mobile number, and the person claimed to be from EE, offering me a 40% discount on my upcoming bill. He insisted I confirm my email address before moving forward and acted really pushy. He said his name was Peter Wilson with staff ID 150 and gave me 0203 9121280 as the EE customer service number to ring back. It was pretty obvious to me that it was a scam, but I worry someone less careful might fall for it.
