2 yearsJust had a call from 02039057923, insisting that my SIM card's about to be disconnected. Clearly, it’s just another scammer trying their luck!2 yearsI got a call from someone claiming to be O2, telling me a new SIM was on its way. I just ended the call right away.2 yearsI got a ring from some bloke called Albert, with a really thick Indian accent. He claimed to be from O2 or Virgin or something, saying my SIM would get blocked in five days unless I answered his questions. I told him to cut the rubbish and that he was clearly trying to scam me. We went back and forth a bit with some colourful language until he finally told me to buzz off and slammed the phone down. Honestly, I was kind of enjoying our cheeky little exchange!AlbertO2Virgin2 yearsI didn’t pick up, and they never left any message either.2 yearsThey called me two times but I just ignored it both times. After seeing what others have said, I’m relieved I didn’t pick up since it sounds like it’s probably dodgy.2 yearsToday, this number rang on my mobile but I didn’t pick up. Later on, I got a voicemail from them but it was completely in a different language, so I couldn’t make out what they said. It seemed like they left the line open!2 yearsSo this bloke, with an obvious asian accent, called me saying his name was “Albert” - bit odd, right? He claimed he worked for Virgin Mobile, which I actually used to have. He kept asking for my name and address to “verify” I was a customer, but didn’t answer when I asked him the same. Then he wanted my email which I obviously refused to give. He got pretty annoyed after that, and when I told him I wasn’t with Virgin anymore, he started threatening to freeze my SIM! I just told him to do it and told him straight to piss off, what a total scammer!AlbertVirgin MobileVirgin2 yearsSo, when a call popped up marked as Fraud (not just spam), I picked up but stayed silent. An Asian guy kept saying “hello, hello” on the line. Then he hung up and rang again. I answered once more and just stayed quiet, pretty much just holding the phone without saying a word. He kept going with “hello, hello” before finally hanging up. It’s funny to think he wasted like 45 seconds on me! I’ve stopped ignoring these calls because they just keep coming. I’m curious to see if this weird method annoys them more than it does me since I’m not playing along.2 yearsI got a call from this number but they never called me back, so I have no idea if it’s something legit or just a spam or scam.2 yearsReceived an unexpected call from this number, and my phone flagged it as potentially dodgy, which is why I'm bringing it to your attention.Submit Your Own Report (020 3905 7923)
