Got a call from someone saying they were with EE and could give me 40% off my contract. I'm just a pay-as-you-go SIM user, so it was clear straight away it was a scam.

Got a call claiming to be from EE, offering a free upgrade plus 40% off. The person on the line sounded Indian and their English wasn’t great. They said they’d send a verification code but it took ages and felt a bit dodgy. I reckon they might’ve been trying something dodgy or even criminal. Normally, genuine callers already know your name and account info, then they ask for your date of birth and address to check it’s legit. I’ve blocked the number now.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with Three, but I hung up right away. They've tried ringing me three more times after that.
