I was getting calls daily from a No Caller ID for a while, now it's this number ringing me - I’m guessing it’s just more of the same. I hadn’t been bothered by scam calls recently, but last week I asked for an insurance quote and foolishly gave them my real number (I usually just use a fake one like 07777777777). That must’ve been the trigger. Pretty sure they’ve sold my details on. I keep all unknown numbers on silent anyway. Best not to pick up these calls!

So I got a call from this number but I didn’t pick up cause I didn’t know who it was. When I looked it up, it showed it was some kind of photo studio. Not sure where they found my number from though. Bit strange really.

I never pick up calls from unknown numbers. This one rang me today, but I ignored it and later searched it online. Turns out it’s linked to some photography place in Brixton, with which I have absolutely zero connection. Figured the number could’ve been faked, so it might have been some kind of scam or maybe it was really them. Either way, glad I didn’t answer since I wasn’t up for a photoshoot or whatever it was about. No voicemail left either.

This number is legit, not some scam or anything. I went for a free photo session with them, and you get a couple of prints included. If you want more photos though, you have to pay for them. It’s not the cheapest around, but definitely cheaper than other places I looked at. Overall, the experience was pretty good. Oh, and they’ll probably ask if you can suggest their services to friends. They’ve moved to Brixton, London now.

Seems like a total scam to me. The guy was pushing a weird English accent but you could tell he wasn’t local at all. Super pushy with his selling, kept babbling about prices and deals. Honestly, watch out for these sorts of calls.

Got a call from somewhere called Broadway Studios, where some bloke named Erik said he was recommended by someone I don’t even know. He told me I’d been picked for a pro photoshoot. It all felt a bit dodgy and out of the blue. Smells like one of those "free deposit" scams to me.

i signed up for this free online photoshoot competition thingy. then a bloke calling himself ‘nick’ phoned me to set up when to come in. he wanted £70 upfront to reserve the spot, claiming the money would be given back when i arrived at the studio. he also said they'd chuck in a £20 voucher for some brazilian cafe nearby for lunch. felt a bit dodgy to me, so i just ended the call.

Then, the guy organised the times and dates for the shoot but suddenly asked for my card details to reserve a place, saying it would cost £35 for just one photo, which confused me since it was meant to be free. I received a call claiming I had won a complimentary photoshoot. They requested a £30 payment upfront, which struck me as a bit dodgy, so I politely declined. However, they persisted, ringing me relentlessly-sometimes three times a day-for several months! They frequently obscured their number, making it impossible to block them effectively. In the end, I had no choice but to change my number entirely.

Avoid Broadway Studios at all costs! I was drawn in by a so-called "complimentary" photoshoot, courtesy of a mate who touted their services. To my shock, when I inquired about how they’d gotten hold of my number, I discovered they’d rifled through her phone for all her personal info-she’s completely powerless to rectify that situation now! They pressured me into coughing up £50, and their attitude was downright unpleasant. Cancelling was a right headache too; they held onto my funds well beyond the 28-day mark. It took me a relentless six weeks of chasing them via email to finally see my money again. Just a total con artist operation!

Beware - this lot are nothing but a con! If you dare to cancel your booking, they'll happily pocket your cash and leave you feeling utterly helpless. Honestly, any reputable photography studio wouldn’t resort to cold calling and insisting on card details up front. *****STEER CLEAR OF SHARING YOUR CARD INFORMATION WITH THEM**** or you might find yourself in a right pickle! They've already duped plenty of individuals, and I wouldn't wish anyone to join that unfortunate group.
