I got a call from 02038902303, the name on my phone was Jenith Gray. They told me not to ignore the message and said if I dont call back or hear from a solicitor, legal action might follow. Sounds fishy to me since HMRC wouldnt handle things like this over the phone directly, from what I know this dont seem right at all. Definitely seems like a scam to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC telling me to get in touch with my case worker about an ongoing lawsuit against me. I hung up straight away and blocked the number. Honestly, I can’t believe how these miserable scammers can stoop to such awful tricks.

Be careful with this one!! There’s a rogue automated call going around saying hmrc is taking you to court, then asking you to press one to talk to someone about paying up. just to be clear, this is a total scam and you should hang up straight away. it’s been reported loads of times, mostly aiming at older folks and those who might not be on their guard. stay safe!
