2 yearsDefinitely a scam, total spam!2 yearsI’ve been keeping an eye on my landline recently because the phone’s been acting up and not ringing with incoming calls. This number popped up, didn’t ring any bells, and I thought it might be dodgy. So, naturally, I gave this brilliant site a look! No voicemail or anything left, but I’m pretty sure I’ve had calls from a number a lot like this one before...2 yearsGot a call earlier today saying there was a big payment over £600 going out of my bank account. They told me to press 1 or 2 to confirm if it was real or not. The automated message never mentioned which bank it was about. I reckon if I'd pressed either option, I'd have ended up on a premium rate number costing a fortune each minute. I looked up the number by dialling 1471 and found it was 020 388 72971. Looks like these scammers have shifted focus from broadband cons now.2 yearsGot a call from a number I didn’t know, checked it out here and realised it’s just a scam.2 yearsI got a call from someone saying her name was Emily and she was ringing from some place I couldn't quite catch. She went on about money I supposedly lost a few years back and promised to explain how I could get it back on my own! Sounds like one of those scams that got me before when I tried retrieving some lost cash. When I told her I wasn’t convinced, she just ended the call straight away.Emily2 yearsGot a call from 02038872971 about cars or something? I figured it was that cause I just started chatting rubbish and they didn’t even stop to listen properly. They kept going on a long spiel, claiming they weren’t trying to sell anything though. Bit fishy if you ask me.Submit Your Own Report (020 3887 2971)
