Got a call on my phone from someone saying it was about further education. He just ended the call without asking my name or where I lived - said he was from London. Then I got two weird emails at the same time, which I deleted straight away without even opening. Received a rather suspicious call today concerning some further education opportunity aimed at my partner. When I inquired about how they obtained our number, there was no response whatsoever. The chap on the line certainly didn't sound British and appeared keen on persuading us to enroll in a course. It’s worth noting that we previously had a similar experience with another call from that same London area, pushing us to invest in some dodgy BITCOIN scheme and probing for our banking details. Everything about this just screams fishy! I wouldn’t dream of sharing any personal or financial information unless I was physically present in my bank or an institution of my choice. They keep ringing, i dont pick up. I did once and they were chatting about some college stuff, i told them to remove me from their list. Just got another call, so i called back, a lady picked up but i just remembered i didnt wanna bother and ended the call. For sure, block this number!

I asked to speak to his manager, he put me on hold and then the same guy answered again, claiming he was the manager. I asked if he was serious trying to convince me, a 16-year-old still studying, to go for higher education. He said yes and even invited me to his office. I told him to get lost and ended the call.

Then they tried to book me a meeting straight away at their Holborn office. I asked for their website so I could check them out myself. Got a call from some Asian bloke about higher ed courses at random "colleges" (not proper unis), trying to get me to sign up for open days. Said he got my number from some "third party" uni websites and assumed it was fine to ring students like that??? He claimed I must have registered somewhere through my uni, which is why he had my number. Honestly, no uni would ever hand out personal info for rubbish like this.
